Do you want to understand and design digital Augmented Reality applications? Can you imagine visiting the museum in a different, more interactive way? The University Museum in collaboration with the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, offers to the general public the "Creative Workshop of Interactive Educational Experiences in the Museum using Augmented Reality".
During the workshop, which will be implemented in two sessions, participants will learn how to create interactive digital Augmented Reality applications for constructive museum visits. The workshop will present techniques for collecting and editing multimedia material and ways of linking it to exhibits to enrich the visit experience.
No special software knowledge is required, mainly an enthusiasm and a smartphone to test the application that will be created. The workshop will take place on the following dates: Monday 16 January 2023 and Monday 20 February 2023 at 17:00 - 21:00 at Ionian University, I. Theotoki 72, Department of Archaeology, Library and Museology, Ioannis Papadakis Laboratory 2nd floor.
